WAYNE L. PHILLIPS M.D., C.C.F.P. Each year the Nova
Scotia College of Family Physicians honors a Family Physician member who
exemplifies the guiding principles of Family medicine. This year’s
outstanding Family Physician is being recognized for giving exceptional
personal care to his patients, sharing knowledge and insights with his
colleagues and medical students, and making great contributions to the
health and well being of his community.
In addition, The College of Family Physicians of Canada recognizes each
provincial recipient of this award from across Canada with the prestigious
Reg L. Perkin Award. This year all Family Physicians of the Year
will be honored in Quebec City on 2 November,
