Jan Kasperski is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ontario College of Family Physicians, an Associate Professor of Clinical Education at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and a Board Member of the Toronto East General Hospital. Ms. Kasperski is a Registered Nurse and a Board Certified Health Executive. She has over thirty four years experience in a variety of healthcare settings: as a clinician, an educator, a researcher and a hospital administrator.
Ms. Kasperski’s broad-based background allows her to view healthcare from various perspectives. She has a thorough understanding and deep respect for the role that family physicians play within the healthcare system.
Ms. Kasperski has been a Professor at St. Paul’s University and the University of Ottawa, as well as an educational consultant with the Canadian Healthcare Association. Ms. Kasperski has been an active member of the Board of several healthcare related organizations. She has written extensively about primary care/family medicine and is recognized for her leadership in health system research in primary care.
