The Ontario College of Family Physicians (OCFP) has partnered with ECHO (an agency of the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care) to develop a medical mentoring network in the field of women’s health. The WOMMEN (Women’s Ontario Medical Mentoring Education Network) initiative is intended to support physicians with expertise in women’s health issues to mentor interested family physicians. Mentors will be supported to develop into educationally influential physicians who will provide peer education and give timely guidance and advice to their family physician mentees.
