The Health Protection and Promotion Task Force will:
- Provide a coordinated approach to the OCFP’s leadership, education, research and advocacy activities in regards to health protection and promotion;
- Review current OCFP programs including pandemic planning, IPAC and emergency and disaster planning, health promotion, disease prevention healthy living and social determinants of health, environmental and occupational health;
- Promote EMR use for health protection and promotion
- Strengthen relationships between Public health and Family Physicians
- Establish formal links with the MOHLTC’s Public Health Division OAHPP, Health Promotion Division and other ministries
