This 2 day course is being offered as an update for those family physicians who are currently working regular shifts in the Emergency Department (within the last two years, 3-4 shifts per month). Because of the intense pace of the course, it is intended as a refresher course for physicians who already have two years of Emergency Department experience in addition to residency.

What is being offered?
• 2 day course combining theory and practical sessions
• 16 topics on all major systems in adults and pediatrics
• Practical workshops in airway practice, casting, splinting, slit lamp use, lumbar puncture, X-Ray and EKG interpretation.

This program meets the accreditation criteria of The College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been accredited for 13.0 Mainpro-C credits.
