The OCFP has established seven regions in the province and each year we recognize an outstanding family physician from each of those regions. Each of the Regional Family Physicians of the Year is recognized at the OCFP’s Annual Scientific Assembly in November and is eligible to be chosen as Ontario’s Family Physician of the Year and recognized by the CFPC at Family Medicine Forum (this year in Vancouver November 7-9th). These awards recognize the outstanding contributions of Members of the College who have provided exemplary care to their patients and have been passionately involved in activities that have contributed remarkably to family medicine as Members in good standing of the College for at least 10 years.
