Drs. Stephen and Stephanie Milone

2009 Community Teachers of the Year

Drs. Stephanie and Stephen Milone graduated from the University of Toronto medical school in 2002 and completed their Family Medicine residency at Queen’s University in 2004. They worked in Kingston at the teaching centre for a few years before making their way to Orangeville, Ontario. They currently share a comprehensive family practice and provide Inpatient Care. In addition, Stephen practices Anesthesia and Stephanie works in the Emergency Department.

They are the proud parents of two boys, Benjamin (age 5) and Daniel (age 2), and are expecting their third child in the New Year. In their spare time, Stephen enjoys playing hockey and running while Stephanie fills her time with kickboxing, yoga and reading. They are passionate about travelling and are always planning their next trip.

They recently became the Site Coordinators for the University of Toronto Rural Family Medicine Residency program in Orangeville. They are humbled to receive this Teaching Award as they feel it is a great privilege to work with residents and to pass on to them their joy of Family Medicine.
